The Repair Process

When a GE PLC system develops a problem, Control Concepts Dallas evaluates the equipment and surrounding operating conditions to determine whether the issue originates within the PLC or elsewhere in the automation system.

Our technicians review incoming power, controller configuration, communication networks, I/O modules, connected devices, and overall system performance. When appropriate, controllers and modules are inspected and tested to verify processor operation, communication, and input/output response.

Once the cause is identified, we determine whether repair, replacement, retrofit, or modernization is the most practical solution.

Many PLC failures can be avoided through preventative maintenance.
