About Magnetek Control Systems

Magnetek drive and control systems are used in demanding applications where reliable load movement, motor control, operator communication, and precise crane or hoist operation are essential to daily performance.

Control Concepts Dallas supports current and legacy Magnetek equipment used throughout overhead crane systems, hoist applications, material handling operations, warehouses, industrial plants, and other demanding motion-control environments.

Our technicians diagnose and service AC and DC drives, crane control panels, radio control systems, communication equipment, and related motion-control hardware. We can also help evaluate repair, replacement, retrofit, or modernization options for aging or difficult-to-support systems.

Equipment we service includes:

The Repair Process

When a Magnetek drive, crane control, hoist control, or radio system develops a problem, Control Concepts Dallas evaluates the equipment and surrounding operating conditions to determine whether the issue originates within the Magnetek equipment or elsewhere in the application.

Our technicians review incoming power, fault history, drive settings, communication systems, radio controls, connected motors, brakes, operator controls, and mechanical loads. When appropriate, the equipment is inspected and tested through controlled power-up and functional testing.

Once the cause is identified, we determine whether repair, replacement, retrofit, panel modification, or modernization is the most practical solution.

Many drive failures can be avoided through preventative maintenance.
