The Repair Process

When an ERC drive develops a problem, Control Concepts Dallas evaluates the drive and surrounding operating conditions to determine whether the issue originates within the drive or elsewhere in the application.

Our technicians inspect power components, regulator boards, control circuits, feedback devices, terminals, wiring, and internal electronics. We also review incoming power, connected motors, mechanical loads, operating conditions, and available fault information.

Damaged components are repaired or replaced when practical. The drive is then powered under controlled conditions, calibrated, and functionally tested. When repairing the existing drive is no longer practical, we can help evaluate replacement, retrofit, or modernization options for the surrounding motor-control system.

Most drive failures can be avoided through preventative maintenance.
