The Repair Process

When a Fincor drive or controller develops a problem, Control Concepts Dallas evaluates the equipment and surrounding operating conditions to determine whether the issue originates within the Fincor unit or elsewhere in the application.

Our technicians inspect power boards, SCRs, control and regulation circuits, terminals, wiring, and internal components. We also review incoming power, control signals, connected motors, feedback devices, and operating conditions. Damaged components are repaired or replaced when practical, followed by controlled power-up and bench or load testing.

When repairing the existing equipment is no longer practical, we can help identify replacement, retrofit, or modernization options for the surrounding motor-control system.

Most drive failures can be avoided through preventative maintenance.
