The Repair Process

When a Franklin Control Systems drive develops a problem, Control Concepts Dallas evaluates the equipment and surrounding operating conditions to determine whether the issue originates within the drive or elsewhere in the application.

Our technicians inspect terminals, wiring, control boards, cooling components, and input and output power sections while reviewing fault information, operating parameters, incoming power, connected motors, and mechanical loads. Before applying power, critical components are tested, existing parameters are backed up when possible, and the drive is monitored during controlled power-up.

After repairs are completed, the drive is functionally tested to verify proper output and motor operation. When repairing the existing drive is no longer practical, we can help evaluate replacement, retrofit, or modernization options for the surrounding motor-control system.
