The Repair Process

When a Hitachi drive, PLC, or automation system develops a problem, Control Concepts Dallas evaluates the equipment and surrounding operating conditions to determine whether the issue originates within the Hitachi equipment or elsewhere in the application.

Our technicians review incoming power, fault history, drive parameters, controller diagnostics, PLC programming, communication networks, I/O operation, connected motors, and field devices. When appropriate, drives, controllers, and modules are inspected and tested to verify power, communication, input/output response, and motor operation.

Once the cause is identified, we determine whether repair, replacement, retrofit, or modernization is the most practical solution. Proper cooling, current program backups, clean operating conditions, reliable communication networks, and periodic inspections can also help reduce future problems.
