The Repair Process

When Superior Electric power or motion-control equipment develops a problem, Control Concepts Dallas evaluates the equipment and surrounding operating conditions to determine whether the issue originates within the Superior Electric equipment or elsewhere in the application.

Our technicians review incoming power, output voltage, control settings, drive or controller operation, electrical connections, connected motors, cooling, and mechanical loads. When appropriate, the equipment is inspected and tested through controlled power-up and functional testing.

Once the cause is identified, we determine whether repair, replacement, retrofit, or modernization is the most practical solution.

Most power and motion-control failures can be avoided through preventative maintenance.
