The Repair Process

When a Trane VFD or related motor-control component develops a problem, Control Concepts Dallas evaluates the equipment and surrounding operating conditions to determine whether the issue originates within the Trane equipment or elsewhere in the application.

Our technicians review incoming power, fault history, drive or starter settings, electrical connections, cooling components, connected motors, and mechanical loads. When appropriate, the equipment is inspected and tested through controlled power-up and functional testing.

Once the cause is identified, we determine whether repair, component replacement, retrofit, or modernization is the most practical solution.
