About VTAC Drive Systems

VTAC AC drive systems remain in operation in commercial and industrial HVAC applications where reliable fan and pump speed control, energy efficiency, and consistent motor performance are essential to daily operations.

Control Concepts Dallas services installed and legacy VTAC equipment used throughout air-handling systems, pumping applications, building systems, and other variable-torque motor-control environments.

Our technicians inspect and test VTAC drives, identify electrical and control faults, replace failed components, and verify operation before returning equipment to service. Preventative maintenance and onsite troubleshooting are also available.

The Repair Process

When a VTAC drive develops a problem, Control Concepts Dallas evaluates the equipment and surrounding operating conditions to determine whether the issue originates within the drive or elsewhere in the application.

Our technicians review incoming power, fault history, drive settings, electrical connections, cooling components, connected motors, and mechanical loads. Before applying power, we inspect and test the input and output power sections, back up existing settings when appropriate, and verify operation through controlled power-up and motor testing.

Once the cause is identified, we determine whether repair, refurbishment, or component replacement is the most practical solution.

Most drive failures can be avoided through preventative maintenance.
